New marquee for the altar hall

In the central ashram in Italy, due to the lack of suitable premises for the altar hall, a temporary altar marquee is used instead. However, in the hot and cold season, it does not provide comfort for sadhana, so there is a need to create a more suitable and reliable space – a new altar marquee.

The marquee now embodies the principle of rootedness and stability for the sangha. By donating to this project, through the flow of energies in the common field, you will be able to activate and strengthen the muladhara chakra and the lower centers, which in turn will help the energies to rise unhindered to the upper chakras. And as you know, the method of energy transfer is the most effective in the practice of yoga.

A project of a new marquee has already been created and construction work has begun on its installation:

The new marquee will be 200 sq m, about 6.5 m high, consisting of 20 pilings, each of which has a weight of 50-70 kg. We have already begun to lay a solid foundation that will ensure the sustainability and longevity of this sacred space. It is also planned to install special equipment inside the marquee for heating and cooling the space. The new marquee will be able to accommodate a large number of guests and will become a reliable place for daily practices, satsangs, monastic classes, seminars and celebrations.

With a new, stronger and more suitable marquee for practice, monks and monastics will be able to practice regardless of the weather and season. For it is only when the monastic and lay sangha act in unison, like the two wings of a Dharma bird, that the bird flies and spreads light to all humanity.
