What does the accumulation of merit give?
Merit is pure sattvic energy in our subtle body, the blessing energy.
It manifests itself as:
Good fortune
Accumulating merit through good deeds and donations creates positive karma, which leads to a favourable fate. This helps us to overcome life\'s difficulties with ease and receive support from the Universe in our endeavours.
Good health
Donations and accumulating merit improve our physical and mental health. This is due to the purification of negative karma and the attraction of positive energy, which contributes to overall well-being and vitality.
Longevity
Regularly performing good deeds and donations prolongs life. This happens due to the accumulation of positive energy and blessings that protect us and keeps our body and mind in good condition.
Prosperity
Accumulating merit through donations and helping others leads to prosperity. The law of karma returns goodness to us many times over, creating material and spiritual abundance in our lives.
Realization of goals
The merits accumulated through sincere service and donations help us realize our wishes and dreams. This happens due to the attraction of favourable conditions and the support of higher powers.
Success, fortune
The accumulation of merit and donations open the door to success and fortune. Positive karma creates favourable circumstances that contribute to our achievements and success in all areas of life.
Harmony in relationships
Doing good deeds and giving donations contribute to harmony in relationships. Positive energy and merit bring people with good intentions into our lives, creating peace and harmony in our relationships.
Calm clear mind
Donations and accumulating merit clear our minds from negative thoughts and emotions. This promotes inner peace, clarity and tranquillity, which help us focus better on spiritual practice.
Pure vision
The accumulated merit helps us develop pure vision, seeing reality as it is, without illusions and delusions. This fosters spiritual insight and awareness of our true nature.
Confidence and detachment
The merits accumulated through donations and service bring confidence and detachment. We become more self-confident and gain inner freedom from attachments and desires.
The principle of making donations is the eternal principle called 'Dana'. It is the universal law of balancing energy and the principle of the universe.

Monastic
sangha
In the thriving civilizations of the past, monasticism as an institution was always respected and revered, therefore the whole society lived according to the laws of Dharma (divine commandments of unity), having as its main vector the direction of development towards Divinity.
And today it is very important for us to revive the culture of respect for the institution of sannyasa (monasticism) and the principles of Dana – donation to monasteries.
